  • Non-adjustable: it pays a fixed rate in kwanza. OT-TX bonds are indexed to the dollar exchange rate.

  • Bonds are quoted as a percentage of face value. At 99.5%, each 1,000 Kz bond costs 995 Kz.

  • What each bond is worth on paper. The coupon is worked out on this amount, and it's what you get back at maturity.

  • 17% of 1,000 Kz is 170 Kz a year, per bond.

  • Paid every six months, on April 15 and October 15: 85 Kz each time.

  • The date the State pays back the 1,000 Kz on each bond, along with the last coupon.

  • Investment income tax (IAC), withheld from every coupon: 10% since January 1, 2026 (Law 14/25). Of 85 Kz, 76.5 Kz is left.
