How it works

Each coupon is half the rate

It's worked out on the face value. The price doesn't change it.

Gross coupon = face value × annual rate ÷ 2. With 100,000 Kz of face value at 17.25%, you get 8,625 Kz gross. IAC takes 862.50 Kz and 7,762.50 Kz reaches you.

If the technical sheet counts the exact days in each half-year, the amount can differ slightly. If the date falls on a weekend or public holiday, check with your broker when the money arrives.

IAC takes 10% of each coupon

It comes off before the money reaches you.

10%, withheld at source (articles 9, 27 and 29 of the IAC Code).

Until 2025, BODIVA bonds with a term of three years or more paid 5%. Law 14/25 revoked that rate from 1 January 2026.

Corporate bonds stay out

Their technical sheets don't say when they pay interest.

Log your bonds in Monaza and you see each coupon on the day it’s paid.
